Pennsylvania Teacher Allegedly Gave Beer to Students

(Delaware County, Pennsylvania) A 33-year-old teacher at Ridley High School, Katherine Leigh Preusser, has been accused of providing alcohol to two of her students after her car was pulled over with a student driving and police found open beer cans.

Preusser faces counts of corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors, drug possession, and other related crimes.
The young driver said they had just seen "The Last Oz" at the nearby Granite Run Mall theater and he pulled over so Preusser could drive. The film's actual name is "Oz the Great and Powerful."

When Preusser got out of the car, police saw two open cans of beer next to her seat. She couldn't remember the name of the movie. She admitted the car was hers and she had been drinking the beer - both in the car and movie.

Police said a 17-year-old female student in the backseat had alcohol on her breath but claimed she had not been drinking. She said the movie was the "Last AW," according to police. She later told police she had been drinking.
Details on booking are unavailable.
