Texas Teacher Accused of Improper Relations with Student

(Liberty, Texas) A 29-year-old teacher at Liberty High School, Valerie Celeste Moore, has been accused of engaging in an improper relationship with a student.

Moore faces a charge of 2nd-degree felony improper relationship between educator and student.

As a result of these allegations, the teacher has been placed on unpaid administrative leave, effective immediately, according to the school district.

Moore was hired in February, and no reports of inappropriate student contact by the teacher had been made prior to this incident.

Moore was arrested and booked into custody with bond set at $25,000.
