Texas Teacher Accused of Sexual Relationship with Student, 14

(Muleshoe, Texas) A 26-year-old English teacher at Muleshoe High School, Morgan Marricle, has been accused of engaging in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student.

Marricle faces a charge of improper relationship with a student.

Although Marricle has not been arrested, charges are expected to be filed before a grand jury in June.

Locals say that rumors of an illicit relationship between Marricle and the child have been circulating around Muleshoe, a town of 5,100 residents located about 68 miles (109 km) northwest of Lubbock, for some time.
