Florida Teacher Faces Drug Charges
(Sanford, Florida) A 48-year-old third-grade teacher at Lake Mary Elementary School, Kimberlyn Witt, has been accused of multiple drug charges.
Witt has been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance without prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the arrest report, Witt was in a car with Martyn Dennis, 61, when Seminole County sheriff's deputies pulled him over after smelling a strong scent of marijuana coming out of the car.Witt faces possible termination from her teaching position. She was booked into custody and released on bond.
Investigators stated there were drugs in Witt's purse.
An arrest affidavit states that she also told the deputy she had a vial of cocaine hidden in her bra.
