French Official on Wolf Problem: "Call the Americans!"

(Provence, France)
A surge in wolf attacks on animals in the south of France has had French farmers scrambling for their rifles and infrared goggles. But one local official says it's time to draft in American hunters as local farmers have proved hapless at finding and killing the predators.

"In France, no one knows how to hunt wolves!" cried Laurent Cayrel, head of Var prefect in Provence, as he met with sheep farmers recently.
Historically, merely putting a bounty on wolf pelts was sufficient. Compensated hunters would gladly blast them away.
