Massachusetts Teacher Sentenced for Raping Boy - Update
A former health and sex education teacher at the North Central Essential Charter School in Fitchburg was sentenced to jail Friday after pleading guilty to enticing and raping one of her 14-year-old male students.Gendron was also ordered to undergo sex offender counseling and a mental health evaluation.
Rachelle N. Gendron, 28, of 4 Sheridan St., Fitchburg, was sentenced to 2½ years in the House of Correction, with 10 years of probation to follow, after entering guilty pleas in Worcester Superior Court to charges of child rape and enticing a child under the age of 16.

(Fitchburg, Massachusetts) A 27-year-old sex education teacher formerly at North Central Charter Essential School, Rachelle Gendron, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old male on multiple occasions.
Gendron faces five counts of rape aggravated by age difference and a charge of enticement of a child under 16 years.
In court, the prosecutors told the judge they have text messages and pictures of Gendron exposing herself on the victim’s and her cell phones, including photos showing Gendron “in various states of undress” with her breast exposed.Details on booking are unavailable.
According to prosecutors, the incidents happened within the past two years, while Gendron had been a teacher at North Central Charter Essential School. She was 25 and 26 years old.
