pleaded guilty yesterday in St. Lawrence County Court to having sex with a 13-year-old boy on the Fourth of July.
Matott was convicted of felony third-degree rape.
She was arrested Aug. 9 following a multiagency investigation that included the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services and Child Protective Department, which began in July and concluded that Matott, formerly of Canton Manor Apartments, served a 13-year-old alcohol before engaging in sexual activity.Sentencing is scheduled for July 7.
In court Tuesday, she told County Judge Jerome J. Richards that she had sex with the minor on July 4. The admission was made as a part of the plea deal that is to include a split sentence of jail time and probation as well as sex offender registration. A no-contact order of protection was issued in favor of the boy.

(Canton, New York) A 23-year-old woman, Amanda Matott, has been accused of liquoring up and engaging in sexual relations with a 16-year-old.
Matott was charged with Rape, second degree, a Class D Felony, Sexual Abuse, second degree, Class A Misdemeanor, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawfully Dealing with a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor.Matott was booked into custody at the Saint Lawrence County Jail with bond set at $10,000.
Canton police were involved because Matott lived in the Village of Canton when the investigation began in early July.
