Ohio PTO Theft

(Enon, Ohio) A 34-year-old volunteer with the Enon School parent-teacher organization, Rebecca Bare, has been accused of stealing $9,000 from the PTO.

Bare faces charges of theft and forgery.
Enon School and Tiger Boosters officials say Bare cashed checks in her name, that had been written by Bare but with different person's signature.

The checks were written between Dec. 6, 2012, and June 19, 2013, and reportedly totaled about $9,000.

PTO Treasurer Hollie Kowalski said she believes Bare took one of the checkbooks out of Kowalski's purse on May 31, 2013, during a students' field day at the school.
Details on booking are unavailable.
