California Teacher Sentenced for Sexual Misconduct - Update

A 29-year-old female former math teacher pleaded guilty to three felony underage sex counts and was sentenced to more than four years behind bars, according to court records obtained Tuesday.OK
Melissa Nicole Lindgren of La Mirada, who taught at Nicholas Junior High School in Fullerton, pleaded guilty Friday to three counts of lewd acts on a child age 14 or 15, according to court records. Four counts of lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old and three counts of distributing pornography to a minor, all felonies, were dismissed. She was sentenced to four years and four months in jail.

(Fullerton, California) A 28-year-old eigth-grade math teacher at Nicolas Junior High School, Melissa Lindgren, has been accused of sexual misconduct with two male students.
Lindgren faces six felony counts, including child molestation, child annoyance and dissemination of harmful matter to a minor.
The arrest happened less than five hours after the school district discovered the allegations, the release stated.Arraignment is scheduled for April 9.
Lindgren was booked at the Fullerton Police Department; she later posted a $100,000 bail and was released, according to the release.
