Virginia Teacher Accused of School Property Theft

(Chesterfield County, Virginia) A 51-year-old teacher at O.B. Gates Elementary School, Julia C. White, has been accused of several offenses related to the theft of property.

White faces counts of felony embezzlement, larceny with intent to sell/distribute stolen property, burglary, three counts of grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny.
The investigation indicates that she stole items while employed as a teacher at O.B. Gates Elementary School. The school division has removed White from the school.

The stolen items include school property, as well as property belonging to students and other teachers. Some of the stolen property has been recovered.
