Colorado Woman Accused of Hosting Underage Booze Party

(Cañon City, Colorado) A 23-year-old local woman, Corvet Griffin, has been accused of hosting an underage drinking party with two dozen minors and a toddler in attendance.

Griffin faces one count of reckless endangerment, five counts of child abuse and 24 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Police say the underage drinking party Saturday night was at Griffin's home on N. 9th in Cañon City.

A 21-month-old was reportedly found sleeping in a room littered with beer bottles and marijuana pipes while her mother, according to the police report, she was drinking and smoking pot. Police say the teen admitted her behavior. The baby was released to the girl's grandmother.

Police also cited 24 juveniles and 12 adults who are between 18 and 21 for being at the party.
