Florida Escort Accused of Murder

(Palm Beach County, Florida) A 19-year-old reported prostitute, Andrea Alvira, has been accused of murdering one of her customers, Brandon Day.

According to the several-page arrest report, Alvira went to meet Day in the 5300 block of Rivermill Lane in Lake Worth at about 3 a.m. on Jan. 15.

Day, 22, initially said he didn't have a condom or money, adding that he needed to go get both and would return shortly, the report said.

After he returned, the two walked around some and were spotted on surveillance video by a security officer.

Eventually a sex act may have taken place and an argument over money ensued, and when the two began fighting, a neighbor came out and saw Alvira on top of Day, the report said.

That neighbor called 911 but by the time deputies arrived, Day was dead.

Alvira was booked into custody at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond.
