Ohio Child Sex Case

Police have charged two people they say cooperated to drug and rape a juvenile and then photograph the sexual assault.

Cecilia D. Lower, 30, of Barberton, is charged with raping a victim under 13, rape after administering a drug of abuse and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Jacob L. Singleton, 33, of New Franklin, is charged with complicity to rape a victim under 13 and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

Barberton police say Singleton stole the drug Trazadone, which is a prescription sleeping aid and antidepressent, from a family member.

They say he then gave the drug to Lower and directed her to administer it to the juvenile, engage the child in sexual contact, photograph the events and forward the photos to him.

The children involved reportedly were a 4-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy.
