Tennessee Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Lawrenceburg, Tennessee) A 42-year-old local woman, Wendy Katherine Packer, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Packer faces a charge of aggravated statutory rape.

[Sheriff Jimmy] Brown said the investigation began after department officials received complaints from citizens about the relationship. He said investigators were able to gather evidence that confirmed the complaints.

Chief investigator Nathan Neese said the investigation revealed the relationship had been going on for a few months.

Brown said evidence was found during the investigation of other criminal activity. He would not elaborate, but did say more charges against Packer are coming.

Packer was booked into custody at the Lawrence County Detention Center with bond set at $50,000.
