Texas Teacher Accused of Improper Relations with Student

(El Paso, Texas) A theater teacher at Irvin High School, Cecilia Schlesinger, has been accused of engaging in an improper relationship between an educator and a student.

A warrant for the arrest of Cecilia Schlesinger was issued on May 27 out of the El Paso Independent School District police department.

She turned herself in to the County Jail on May 29 and it is now a case with the district attorney.

Schlesinger resigned May 2 after an allegation she had an improper relationship with a student.

A spokeswoman for the EPISD told ABC-7 in early May that someone tipped off the district on May 1 and they immediately removed the teacher from the classroom.
