Tennessee Educator Indicted for Rape of Student

(Washington County, Tennessee) A 24-year-old teaching intern at Daniel Boone High School, Krystal Paddock, has been accused of inappropriate conduct with a student.

Paddock was indicted on three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

The investigation stemmed from the school staff having concerns about a possible inappropriate relationship between a teaching intern and a student.

The investigation found that there was enough evidence to present the case to the Washington County Grand Jury in which a Presentment was issued for three counts of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure.

Paddock was booked into custody at the Washington County Detention Center and released on a $30,000 bond.
