Florida Teacher Accused of Sex with Student
(Hillsborough County, Florida) A 30-year-old teacher at Turkey Creek Middle School, Megan Christine Connors, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old male student.
Conners faces counts of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious battery and lewd conduct.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Connors established a relationship with the teenager, who was a student in her classroom.Conners was booked into the Orient Road Jail without bond.
The relationship reportedly took place between January and February. Deputies said things progressed over time to kissing and Connors allowing the student to inappropriately touch her.
Investigators said Connors eventually had sex with the boy several times at the school during school hours. Deputies said Connors would take the boy from other classes, then take him to private rooms to have sex.
