BBC Dropping Jeremy Clarkson Leads to Death Threats

Tony Hall

(UK) Following up on the controversy regarding The BBC's most popular program:
BBC director general Tony Hall has allegedly received death threats after the network announced it is parting ways with Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson.

CNN reports that police were informed Wednesday of the alleged threats to Hall's life. The threats came via email.

"Police in Westminster are investigating an allegation of threats to kill," Metropolitan Police told CNN. "The content of the message suggests [it was sent] from outside the U.K."
A major controversy, no doubt.

The BBC are just demonstrating what hypocrites they really are. After turning a blind eye for years to paedophile Jimmy Saville's actions they sack Clarkson for what must be trivial indiscretions by comparison. But then, Saville was PC,wasn't he?
