AIMING FOR BAMBI

As a public service, I'll pass along this information concerning the unofficial deer crash season, the months of October, November, and December. According to the Michigan Deer Crash Coalition (MDCC), the largest percentage of crashes occur between the hours of 3am and 6am. Of note is the following statement:
If you do find a deer in your headlights, the MDCC reports that it's safer for you to hit the deer than to swerve away from it.
Well, they're the experts. Obviously, the MDCC is not concerned about the deer's safety.
