The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has overturned a lower court ruling that dismissed charges and ordered that she stand trial.

This case seems somewhat odd in that men in jail usually do not need to be cajoled, much less bribed, into spending time with a woman. In fact, one could assume that they would display frothing-at-the-mouth eagerness to be with a woman while incarcerated. But somehow it was necessary for Eileen Mayfield to bribe them for sex.
