Death Study of Writers
James C. Kaufman, PhD, of California State University conducted a study of different groups of writers and correlated their ages at death. Reported in the November issue of Death Studies magazine, the results indicate that poets are most likely to die young, followed by playwrights, novelists, and nonfiction writers. It is reasoned that poets go first because they are more apt to be mentally ill.
Bloggers were not included in the study, probably because we're going to live forever.
