NAACP Student Chapter Rejected

The Catholic University of America has decided not to recognize a student chapter of the NAACP on campus because there are already two organizations representing black students. School administrators also mentioned that the NAACP expresses support for abortion advocacy groups which is contrary to the doctrine of the Catholic Church. NAACP President Kweisi Mfume demonstrated an apparent unfamiliarity with the actions of his organization by stating that the NAACP doesn't take sides in the abortion debate.
