Andrea Yates Conviction Reversed

No doubt about the fact that she drowned her five young children, however, because one "expert" witness tried to pump smoke at the court, a three-judge appeals court threw out her convictions of the murders of three of her children. Yates was never tried for the murders of two of her children. Prosecutors said they would appeal.

It angers me that this ugly sore on humanity has to be reopened and remembered. Surely, every do-gooder and psycho-babbler will now publicly revisit the crime and attempt to rationalize and apologize for Andrea Yates. Meanwhile, Noah, 7, John, 5, Paul, 3, Luke, 2, and Mary, 6 months, are dead after being gruesomely drowned, one at a time, in the family bathtub by their mother.
