Mexican Government Pamphlet Endorses Illegal Migration

The Mexican Foreign Ministry has published 1.5 million copies of a pamphlet which advises migrants how to illegally cross the border into the United States. Called the Guide for the Mexican Migrant (Guia del Migrante Mexicano), its 32 pages of text and illustrations gives advice on navigating in the desert and swimming rivers at night.

George Grayson, a Mexico expert at the College of William and Mary, said the guide sends a message that the Mexican government endorses illegal immigration.

"It is a wink and a nod to illegal immigrants," Grayson said. "How would they feel if the Guatemalans published a guide on how to get into Mexico?"
I can't shake the feeling that the Mexicans are laughing their guts out, thinking the stupid Americanos are such easy prey. And it wouldn't surprise me if they next publish a schedule with a recommended route for the illegals to cross the border. Presumably, terrorists and drug smugglers have studied the guide.

Meanwhile, spineless politicians in Washington have "mixed" reactions to the guide while focusing on their primary work, neglecting to protect United States territory from illegal foreign nationals.

Some people should be fired.
