Cleric Urges Muslims to Leave UK

(London) Radical Muslim cleric Omar Bakri Mohammed has called for all British Muslims to leave the UK because of the "evil" political response to the July 7 London bombings. Bakri is known for praising the 9/11 suicide hijackers and for stating that he would never alert police if he knew that Muslim terrorists were planning an attack.

Bakri accused the government in London of targeting Islamic radicals to "cover-up" their failure to identify the mastermind behind the London bus and train bombings. He also stated that the way to stop terrorism is to get rid of anti-terrorism laws. What screwy logic! I suppose if we rid ourselves of murder laws, there would be no more murders. Sheesh!

My take is that Bakri is exactly the kind of dangerous individual people don't want in their communities. In addition to praising and aiding terrorists, it's reasonable to assume that he radicalizes young followers who become terrorists.
