Woman Gets No Jail for Indecent Liberties with Boy

(Goldsboro, North Carolina) Updating a previous report, 26-year-old Shannon Kathleen Munn was arrested last month and charged with felony rape of a 15-year-old boy after the boy's aunt and uncle alerted police. She was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond.

According to this report, it appears that the court did not deem her behavior to be as criminal as originally charged and she was given a 16 to 20 months suspended sentence for indecent liberties with a child. She will also have 36 months of supervised probation. The Wayne County Superior Court gave Munn no jail time. It's not known if she will have to register as a sex offender.
