Dogs Stolen for Pitbull Bait

(Washington Court House, Ohio) A woman impersonating a Fayette County Humane Society agent has been entering homes and stealing dogs. In the case of purebreds, the motive is believed to be profit. It's feared that others are being used as bait for training pitbulls.

From NBC4i.com:
"The last couple of reports (were) of a woman with short blond hair, actually taking animals and said she was with the humane society, which she is not," said Ronda Terry, one of the county's two certified humane agents.
I suspect that if someone wanted to take my dog, I'd need to see some authoritative identification and justification. A simple uniform wouldn't convince me nor Mr. Shotgun.
