Iraqi Police Seize Smuggled Phony Ballots

(Badra, Iraq) Yesterday, Iraqi border police seized a truck ladened with forged parliamentary election ballots being smuggled from Iran. It's believed that Iranian agents are trying to cheat the election in favor of two main Shiite political parties in Iraq, the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq and the Dawa Party. Notably, this incident perfectly illustrates the Iranian leaders' belligerent attitude toward democracy, their total disregard for free and uncorrupted elections, and their desire to sabotage a neighbor's political system.
