(Lincoln, Nebraska) A 24-year-old worker in a group home for young sex offenders, Leah T. Pleskac, was arrested Monday for having sex with a 15-year-old boy. Pleskac was charged in Lancaster County Court with first-degree sexual assault of a child. According to police, Pleskac had sex with the 15-year-old eight to ten times while under her care as a sex offender.
This sure is an odd case, a sex offender allegedly abused by a sex offender. She was fired from her job at the group home operated by the Child Guidance Center.
Bond has been set at $50,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 4.
