Female Teacher Charged with Sex Assault of Male Student

(Normal, Illinois) A 25-year-old Spanish teacher at University High School, Sarah Elizabeth Dickerson, turned herself in to police on Friday to face charges that she engaged in a sexual relationship with a male student. She has been charged with five counts of criminal sexual assault. Dickerson resigned her position with the school last month.

Dickerson was booked into the McLean County Jail and released on $5,000 bail.

According to this report, Dickerson was the junior class sponsor and girl's tennis coach in addition to being the Spanish teacher.
