30 Years for Making Meth

(Williamsport, Pennsylvania) A 47-year-old man, Christopher DeSivo, was sentenced last week to 30 years in federal prison after being convicted of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. DeSivo elected to be tried before a jury instead of accepting a 12-year plea offer.

More evidence that drugs cause people to make dumb decisions.

On the way out of court, DeSivo asked if he could collect Social Security while in prison. No, Christopher, you'll have to wait until you are released -- at age 77.
