Scam High School

(Omaha, Nebraska) This report provides evidence that uneducated Latinos are being preyed upon by unscrupulous con artists. Imagine that.
An unaccredited California high school that targeted Hispanic students and taught them faulty facts, including that there are 53 states, has been ordered to pay thousands of dollars in restitution and penalties.

Douglas County District Court Judge Patrick Mullen ordered the California Alternative High School and its former principal to pay $6,250 in restitution to 18 Nebraskans, and $18,000 in civil penalties to the state.

The judge found that the high school, which has since shut down, said its diplomas were legitimate when in fact they were not.
Apparently, there is a cluster of uneducated Latinos in Nebraska. For clarification, uneducated Latinos usually means illegal aliens.

It's worth noting that the California Alternative High School (CAHS) and its president, Dr. Daniel Goosai, have a colorful history of legal problems. According to the California Attorney General:
CAHS does not use textbooks, but instead gives consumers a 54-page workbook; the workbook contains numerous factual errors, including a statement that the U.S. government has four branches (executive, legislative, judicial and administrative); students are taught the United States has 53 states, and that the flag has not been updated to reflect the additional three states; and students are taught that in Congress one house is for Democrats and the other for Republicans.

The TRO [temporary restraining order - ed.] support declarations also reveal that Gossai, to enhance his credibility, insists on being called, "Dr. Gossai." But of his two alleged doctorate degrees, one is phony and the other of questionable validity. Additionally, according to the declarations, Gossai claims to hold a lifetime credential as a community college instructor. However, he holds no teaching credential. Gossai was fired from his teaching post at Victor Valley Community College for immoral conduct, dishonesty and unfitness for service.
So, we've got a bogus educator pandering a bogus school to uneducated Latinos in at least two states. Sounds like business as usual for Mexico. And, shouldn't the U.S. be tolerant of immigrant cultures? Yes, if we are to be politically correct.

Therefore, let's just forget about all that accreditation hooey and open our welcoming arms to the new cultural norms. Bogus schools, bogus diplomas, bogus driver's licenses, bogus Social Security numbers, and bogus ID cards all help to crush the barriers of prejudice and discrimination which prevent the realization of social, economic, racial and environmental justice.

Unfortunately, while marching toward a global utopia, all of the necessary tolerance, diversity and political correctness appear to be focused primarily toward destroying the institutions that make America great.
