Teacher Gets No Jail for Sex with Second Boy

(Raleigh, North Carolina) The Gods of Indecency must be smiling on teacher Janet Klatt. In two court decisions in less than a month, the 44-year-old teacher has been allowed to walk away after pleading guilty to sexual relationships with two different 16-year-old boys in two different courts in two different counties.

Last month, she was sentenced to probation in Cabarrus County Court. Yesterday, she was sentenced to probation in Wake County Court. No sex offender registration was ordered in Cabarrus County and I'm guessing that she will slide in Wake County also.

Janet Klatt is the Teflon teacher and she's on a roll. There are scores of counties in North Carolina and each likely has a teen boy ready to plucked for sex with a middle-aged woman. And then, let's not forget about South Carolina, eh, Janet? So much to do when you're invisible to the justice system.

Just curious, do you think a 44-year-old man could do two 16-year-old girls in two different counties and walk away from court with a hand slap?
