Drive-Thru Bank Robbery

(Yulee, Florida) A 59-year-old woman, Barbara Joyner, has been arrested by Nassau County Sheriff's deputies for allegedly robbing the Bank of America in Callahan, Florida, via the drive-thru window.

Police report that Joyner made no attempt to hide her identity as she handed a note to the teller at the drive-thru window.

I'd like to see the note since a bank robber customarily needs to voice some sort of threat (i.e., I have a gun.). What threat would a robber use at the drive-thru window encased, presumably, in bulletproof glass? "Give me all your money or I'll tie up traffic!"

I wonder.

Nevertheless, after leaving a trail of crumbs even a blind man could follow, Joyner was found at her home with the loot along with, get this, practice robbery notes. Therefore, she rehearsed the job. And, even then, she couldn't get it right.

Joyner was booked into custody at the Nassau County Jail on $250,000 bond.
