According to police reports, Canady, who is married, picked up the boy at his home and took him to the Sand Springs Motel on February 18th for sex.
This week, Canady was sentenced by Tulsa County District Judge William Kellough to an eight-year suspended sentence. She will serve probation instead.
As a result of the felony conviction for second-degree rape, Canady will have to register as a sex offender. However, it appears that her options to continue being a teacher's aide will not be affected.
