(Clackamas, Oregon) A 48-year-old woman, Connie Gay Cole, has been convicted of abusing her grandparents, Anne and James Morgan, 91 and 95 years old, by stealing nearly one-half million dollars of their money.The theft occurred in a period of less than two years after Cole convinced her grandparents to let her control their finances. Now, the Morgans are living in a care facility, their life savings gone. State aid supports them.
Cole was sentenced to 75 months in prison
