(Lincoln, Nebraska) In August 2007, a local woman, Tiffany K. King, was arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy.In August 2008, 20-year-old Tiffany King pleaded no contest to third-degree sexual assault of the boy. In September, King also pleaded no contest to a burglary charge stemming from a break-in at her great-aunt's home.
As a result, Judge Paul Merritt sentenced King to serve prison terms of two to three years for the sex crime and one year for the burglary. King was taken away from the court in handcuffs.
Interestingly, King's lawyer Timothy Eppler asked for probation because his client was using alcohol and marijuana when the crimes occurred and she doesn't do that stuff anymore. Judge Merritt obviously didn't consider King a candidate for probation.
