Arkansas Teacher, Husband Busted for Drugs

(West Memphis, Arkansas) Earlier this month, a 38-year-old biology teacher at West Memphis High School, Tracie Geanie Lowman, and her husband, 32 year-old Gregory Lynn Lowman, were arrested for allegedly buying drugs from a student. Both Lowmans have been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver.
Authorities say the student told a school staff member Lowman asked him for pills. School officials called police, and detectives set up an undercover sting.

Police gave the student real pills and told him to meet Lowman at the Walgreen’s store on Missouri Street. That’s where police say the exchange happened.
The Lowmans were booked into custody with bond set at $100,000. A court appearance is scheduled for January 30.
