Eat At Joe's

(Maricopa County, Arizona) Sheriff Joe Arpaio has announced that inmates will start next month to pay for their own meals.

The policy would charge inmates $1.25 per day for their meals. It would apply only to those inmates who have money in personal accounts or “on their books.”

Arpaio said if inmates have money to buy chocolate bars, they can pay for their prison food. Obviously, he has seen inmates buying chocolate.

It's a sure bet that critics of Sheriff Arpaio will never be able to accuse him of sitting on his thumbs. The guy works every possible angle to do the job.
