Pedophile Hacked to Death

(London, England) A 52-year-old convicted pedophile, Andrew Cunningham, was found naked and blood-soaked after being hacked to death and having his genitals mutilated. A mob of vigilantes is suspected to have committed the murder.

Cunningham, a registered sex offender, spent a mere four months in jail for the sex attack of a local schoolgirl in 2000. Apparently, some of the local residents believed that justice had not been served and took the law in their own hands.

Arguably, most people are decidedly intolerant of child sex offenders and it's not only in Britain. It could be contended that lenient sentencing places them in more harm by being released to a pissed-off public than if they are kept in prison. Assuming they aren't mixed with the general prison population, that is.
