Teen Mom Accused of Killing Baby Son

(Worcester, Massachusetts) A 16-year-old high school student and mother, Nga Thi Truong, has been arrested and charged as an adult for allegedly murdering her one-year-old son, Khyle Truong.

Emergency crews were called about 11 a.m. Sunday to the Henderson Avenue house where the teen said she found her son, Khyle, unresponsive and not breathing in his crib.

They found the child suffering from an apparent respiratory and cardiac arrest.

According to Worcester Police Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst, it's believed the child was suffocated with a teddy bear. An autopsy indicated the death was not a case of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Police say she confessed to suffocating her son.

Truong was booked into custody without bail.
