Pennsylvania Teacher Busted for Drugs

(Williamsport, Pennsylvania) A 52-year-old teacher at Round Hills Elementary School, Beth Camp, was arrested yesterday, along with her husband and her 33-year-old son, on drug trafficking charges. The three have been charged with possession with the intent to deliver.
Police say they seized 72 pounds of marijuana from the Lycoming Township home of 52-year-old Beth Camp on Friday. They also seized about $6,000 in cash, along with several handguns and rifles.
Police estimate the value of the drugs seized at $350,000.

If the reporting is correct, the marijuana is quite expensive. The math sets the value around $4,800 per pound, $300 per ounce or over $10 per gram. And that's wholesale! Honestly, the numbers seem high.

In any event, school officials will have to tell the students why Mrs. Camp is absent.
