Assisted-Suicide for Two (or More?)

(Zurich, Switzerland) Wanna kill yourself? How about a table for two? You and the missus? Okay, folks, up on the gurney now. This will be over in a few minutes.

Check out the services offered in Switzerland where assisted-suicide is not only legal, but encouraged. For example, the Dignitas Clinic in Zurich is so eager to help in your death that the company offers to kill you along with any willing partner(s).

Not only that but Dignitas will will gladly snuff you at any location you choose -- sort of a drive-by suicide service.
Swiss law specifies that the agencies that help arrange the deaths do it for “honourable reasons” and cannot profit from the death, aside from charging basic fees.
"Honourable reasons" seems to be a wide-open field. Let's see. How about, "My dog died," or possibly, "I want to follow a comet," or the traditional echoing, "Goodbye, cruel world!"?

Although companies are not allowed to make a profit, a check of the basic fees for assisted-suicide leads one to easily contend that somebody is profiting handsomely. Dignitas gets £3,000 per whack assisted-death. That's US$4,453 at the current exchange rate. Heh. I'd wager I could easily get somebody in East Cleveland to do it for $50, maybe $100 if it's a drive-by.
