Human Smuggler Caught, Again

(Harlingen, Texas) A 48-year-old La Joya Schools employee, Javier Rodriguez, was arrested yesterday for smuggling illegal aliens. It was Rodriguez's second arrest for alien smuggling.
Authorities said 48-year-old man was pulled over on a traffic violation but had four illegal immigrants inside his car.

Investigators arrested Rodriguez in a May 2007 immigrant smuggling incident where he led police on a chase.

La Joya Police Department Joe Cantu said Rodriguez was serving five years probation for the May 2007 case.
Since Rodriguez led police in a car chase prior to his first arrest and was on probation when arrested the second time, he now qualifies for the Border Idol bonus round and the chance to win a brand new full-size luxury Cadillac Escalade SUV.

Nah, just kidding on that last part.
