Florida Babe Seen with Sausage in Pants

(Hernando County, Florida) A 20-year-old woman, Brittany Gariepy, was seen leaving a store with a presumably purloined pickled sausage in her pants. As a result, a call was made to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities arrived at the scene after an employee at the 7-Eleven at 15310 Cortez Blvd. witnessed Gariepy walk out the store with the sausage inside her pants, deputies said.

Gariepy was in her vehicle when deputies arrived and they noticed the wrapper to a Big Mama pickled sausage on the floor, according to an arrest report. The food inside the wrapper had already been eaten, deputies said.

Gariepy has a host of problems. She was charged with retail theft and driving with a suspended license. Additionally, she was on probation at the time of her arrest and police found methamphetamine paraphernalia with drug residue in her car.
