Pakistani Accused of Sham Marriage

(Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) A 28-year-old Pakistani national, Tahir Masud, is accused of paying $5,000 for an American woman to marry him so that he could become a legal immigrant. Federal agents arrested Masud yesterday.

Jessica Lynn Smith married Masud but was not charged with any offense.

I give up. Why wasn't Smith also charged? Masud and Smith conspired together to scam the system and they should be held equally responsible.
