(Beijing, China) The general manager of the China National Nuclear Corporation, Kang Rixin, has been fired under a cloud of allegations of graft and corruption.

Kang was in charge of nuclear research and development as well as construction in areas such as nuclear electricity production, nuclear fuels and nuclear technology application. He was replaced by Sun Qin, the 56-year-old deputy director of the National Energy Administration.

Presumably, Kang will face serious consequences if convicted of corruption. As an indicator, the ChiComs executed a corrupt official earlier this month.
