Disposable Airplanes and Other Stuff

(Atlantida, Honduras) At night a week ago, local residents observed ten luxury cars being positioned with their lights on to form an improvised clandestine runway on a farm as a light airplane flew overhead. The plane, a Colombian-registered Cessna 210, landed. Several trunks were unloaded from the plane and then everyone climbed into the luxury vehicles and left.

The next day, the abandoned Cessna 210 was searched and found with drug residue and a hidden compartment believed to have contained 1,000 kilograms of cocaine. The plane was left for the taking.

(Mexico) Meanwhile, five men from Peru were detained at the Mexico City Airport after being found, collectively, with 328 capsules of cocaine in their intestines. After being expelled, the capsules weighed in at 3.74 kilograms. By my calculations, each smuggler had swallowed more than 26 ounces of cocaine.

(Mexico) And then there's this:
The trafficking of persons and the kidnapping of migrants in the Gulf of Mexico zone are controlled by “Los Zetas.” [...]

A source on the Reynosa Police revealed that “Los Zetas” have complete control of migrant trafficking through the gangs of “Pateros” (those who cross the migrants across the Rio Grande River to the U.S.), the agents of different police forces, principally the Municipal Preventive Police, and the Immigration Service.
So, the drug cartel completely controls illegal alien undocumented worker smuggling by controlling the gangs, the police and the immigration service. How nice, eh?

(Mexico) Lastly, there's this news gem from Mexico City. Mexicans appear to have an interest in U.S. national health care.
Should U.S. approve “Health Reform?”

Results of a poll taken by Excelsior daily newspaper:

YES: 522 -- 87.73%______________NO: 73 -- 12.27%
Therefore, it could be suggested that almost nine out of 10 Mexicans are concerned about the health of Americans. Frankly, I have my doubts.
