Woman Accused of Throwing Child's Body in Trash

(Mobile, Alabama) A 21-year-old local mother, Christian Woods, is accused of killing one of her children, throwing the body into the garbage, and neglecting two other children.

Woods faces a murder charge and counts of child cruelty.

Investigators say she left her three children home alone for three days, with nothing but a few cups of jello to eat.

They say her 18 month old daughter Myleahya died of malnutrition, then Woods threw her body in the trash.

Investigators also say the two other children, Mykayla and Jeterius were found extremely malnourished and dehydrated.

Woods pleaded not guilty in court yesterday while a crowd of family members and friends attended to demonstrate their support. Aunt Ernestine said, "She is a very good mom, very good." Heh.

Woods is being held at the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $250,000.
