Idaho Woman Pinched for Cocaine

(Boise, Idaho) In an odd case, a 48-year-old local woman, Joanne E. Taylor, was arrested last Friday for allegedly possessing cocaine.

Boise police began investigating the case March 12 when employees of an undisclosed Downtown business called police to report they found small amount of white powder wrapped up in a piece of paper inside a letter that was sent back to the business because the sending address was incorrect.

After Boise fire crews determined the substance was not environmental hazard and was actually 3.1 grams of cocaine, investigators found undisclosed evidence Taylor tried to send the letter to herself and had the return address as the business, according to reports.

Taylor was booked into custody at the Ada County Jail and later released on bond.

This case is confusing. It appears that Taylor was sending cocaine to herself but it's not explained why. There seems to be something missing in the story.
